Our Diversity Committee

Our Diversity Committee is responsible for outlining and driving our firm's efforts to create an environment where diversity is valued, embraced and realized at Kennedy Covington. Our Diversity Committee meets regularly for the purpose of focusing the firm's efforts at being proactively inclusive and is actively implementing best practices and measurable action plans in four important areas:

• Recruiting;
• Mentoring and leadership development;
• Internal awareness; and
• Community awareness.

The Chair of the Diversity Committee, Felicia Washington Mauney, leads the committee's monthly meetings and engages members to manage actionable, results oriented initiatives to promote diversity. Gene Pridgen, our Managing Partner, is a member of the diversity committee and, as leader of the firm, represents the interests of the Diversity Committee and drives firm wide implementation of diversity initiatives top-down across all offices, practices and community efforts.
